New Teddy Bear & DJ'g

Tonight I'll be dj'g over at Bulldogs Bar and Beach from 12-2pm slt. Bulldogs is owned by my mate Spudys who is awesome fun and I love dj'g for her over there. Don't ask me what kind of music I'll be playing - at the moment I have no idea. Wednesdays is one of those nights where I just make it up as I go along. I have also been doing a little bit more work on the store. I added a range of gift boxes and a cute little box of chocolates and I made a new teddy bear range. This one is holding an adorable bunch of balloons! Right, I got to run off to that RL game for a few hours. See you soon x

I distracted myself from working by doing a new profile Pic for myself - oh and by randomly tp'g to hotspots on SL search - that was fun!

My Store

w00t! Two days in - two blogs - I'm gooood!

So I opened a store for my cards and gifts. This is something I had wanted to do on my previous character but never really got round to doing properly. There's still a lot to do but I'm quite pleased with what I have put together already.

Obviously with Valentine's Day just around the corner there is a bias towards Love and Valentine's cards in the store at present, however there is also a range of birthday, rez day and wedding cards.

My friend Willow (see blog links - she has a kickass fashion blog) suggested a friend card and I made it yesterday and have just put it into the store.

I was going to make another friend one and then I had an idea for a card that sits alongside the range of Bitchy Balloons I have in store to make the opposite of a love card. Dated a loser - send him one of these:

Plan for today is to make some gift boxes - install a visitor greeting, write some notecards and set up the free gift for people who visit. I doubt I'll get it all done - stayed up far too late and need some sleepies at some point.

First Post

God I hope I am gonna be better at this blogging lark on this character than I was on the previous one! I am a lazy blogger. Probably not the best thing to say to get people interested in my blog but tis the truth.

Starting Kess was the best decision I ever made in SL. After over 3 years on my previous character and achiieving reasonable success in the things I set out to do - namely running a club and becoming an SL DJ - I fancied a change. I wanted to meet new people, explore new places - start over again on my second Second Life.

So on the last day of November 2009 Kess was born. Less than two months on and I own a Card and Gift Store here  http://slurl.com/secondlife/Roosa/66/84/28 and I'm dj'g at two really fun venues. I've made some awesome new friends, and one particularly special friend. Life is good!

I'll hopefully be using the blog to put up product updates and news - next blog post will be about the store and what you can expect
